Description

PLA Silk Filament UAE (1.75mm, 1kg) – Shiny, Smooth Premium Prints

Crolen PLA Silk Filament UAE is made for smooth, eye-catching 3D prints with a shiny silk surface finish. It keeps the easy printing experience of PLA while giving your models a brighter, more premium look. PLA Silk is a great choice for makers, designers, hobbyists, schools, and studios who want prints that stand out with a glossy metallic-style appearance. Each spool is 1.75mm, weighs 1kg, and is produced with tight quality control to support smooth feeding and consistent extrusion.

If you want a filament that looks more decorative than regular PLA, PLA Silk is one of the best options. It is especially useful for display models, figures, trophies, signs, gifts, art pieces, decorative prints, and any project where the surface finish matters. The silk effect gives prints a smooth shine that can make simple models look more polished without needing paint or extra finishing work.

Dimensional accuracy: ±0.02mm for stable extrusion, smoother feeding, fewer clogs, and consistent print quality.

Why choose Crolen PLA Silk filament?

  • Shiny silk finish: creates a smooth premium look with a glossy visual effect.
  • Easy to print: keeps the simple printing experience of PLA for everyday use.
  • Great for display models: ideal when appearance is more important than heavy mechanical strength.
  • Clean surface quality: helps prints look polished directly from the printer.
  • Low warping: supports stable printing on most print beds without complicated settings.
  • Consistent diameter: helps reduce extrusion problems and supports reliable print results.

Best uses for PLA Silk filament

  • Decorative models and display prints
  • Figures, trophies, gifts, and art pieces
  • Signs, logos, and visual prototypes
  • Cosplay details and shiny design parts
  • Creative projects where the finish matters
  • Everyday prints that need a more premium appearance

Recommended PLA Silk print settings

Crolen PLA Silk is designed to print easily on most FDM 3D printers. A good starting point is a nozzle temperature of around 200°C-220°C and a bed temperature of around 50°C-60°C. Silk filaments can look better at slightly slower speeds because the surface has more time to form a smooth glossy finish. Your exact settings may change depending on your printer, nozzle, bed surface, print speed, and room temperature, so it is always best to run a small test print when using a new spool or color.
