Crolen Metal PLA Filament UAE in Aluminium is a PLA-based composite containing real aluminium powder. The metal fill gives printed objects a bright metallic surface and a heavier, more substantial feel than standard PLA Basic.

This makes PLA Metal especially suitable for display objects where appearance, weight, and presentation matter. Each spool contains 1kg of 1.75mm filament and is produced with a ±0.02mm dimensional tolerance to support consistent filament feeding and stable extrusion.

Important nozzle requirement

Use a hardened steel nozzle when printing Crolen PLA Metal. This is an important part of the recommended printing setup for the metal-filled material.

A minimum nozzle diameter has not been specified by the supplier, so choose a hardened steel nozzle that is compatible with your printer and printing profile.

Recommended PLA Metal print settings

Use a nozzle temperature between 180°C and 220°C and a bed temperature between 25°C and 60°C. The recommended printing-speed range is 40–250mm/s, with the cooling fan set between 50% and 100%.

The final settings will depend on the printer, hardened steel nozzle, print speed, model, and build surface. Tune the material within the recommended ranges rather than assuming that one profile will produce the same result on every printer.

Drying and storage

The supplier’s drying guidance is 50°C for 5 hours. Keep the spool stored in a dry, sealed environment when it is not being used to help maintain consistent printing performance.
